Stone Retaining Wall Design

The original retaining wall, which succumbed to time & wear, stood as a reminder of the impermanence in hastily built structures. Our task was not only to reconstruct but also to reimagine the original design.

Here was the design theory & construction behind the wall:

  • Their choice to use core-filled concrete cinder blocks laid the groundwork for a wall that was built to last, signifying solidity and stability.

  • The artistry came into play with the application of stone veneers, carefully selected and placed to marry the wall with the natural beauty of Richland area.

  • The stones resonate with the earthy tones of the surroundings, while the green turf that crowns the structure brings a burst of life, contrasting the ruggedness of the stone with a soft, welcoming expanse.

Do you need help building an aesthetically pleasing retaining wall that will last & give you access to additional yard space? We’re here to help!

Custom Stone Fire Pit

Central to this outdoor revival is the fire pit that sits atop the stone wall we constructed. Truly, the design of the fire pit invites warmth and camaraderie between the elements. This feature serves as a communal hearth for the property, offering a year-round haven for social gatherings or moments of solitary contemplation under the stars.
